ProActive didnt work for me at all so I went to CVS and tried to look for something similar and I found Acne Free:

Its only 19.99$ and it also comes with a small tube of the “Terminator” (or you can buy a larger tube seperatly) and I LOVE that stuff to dry up zits and make them heal quicker.

You can also try the dermatologist and they can place you on a cream. I break out occasionally so my Derm. Place me on Duac.

The BEST regimen you can follow is to CLEANSE, TONE and MOISTURIZE.

Biore has GREAT products! I use them, so I’m partial .. They are a bit on the expensive side but they have worked for me and it sounds like we have the same skin type.
– I used Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser:

I would buy 2 boxes; it has 2% Sylic acid and for 5 bucks that is fantastic!

Just remember not to OVER wash your face. Just Cleanse, Tone, and Moisturize TWICE a day. (morning and night)
And if you influence to you just a Spot Treatment, use in the morning and at night (or just at night).

I wash my face in the morning, after school, and at night with a face wash that has scrubbing beads in it ($3). Also, i place Clean and Apparent sacyllic acid solution ($4 for a bottle) on at least once a day. My face is sweet apparent. I dont reckon you need to go and buy proactive.

Different solutions work for different people, so you really have to try different cleasners. I used to wash my face with just dove soap and my face was always apparent.

Try products physicians say won’t irritate your skin, such as Phisoderm or CeraVe. Products targeted for acne often are formulated with harsher ingredients that, theoretically, are meant to help apparent the acne but are often irritants to skin and thus become counterproductive.
