Your Questions About Cure Cellulite Exercise

Exercises to get rid of cellulite?

I’ve heard that exercise is the best cure for cellulite, so which exercises are best to get rid of it? Just jogging, or would I need to join a gym and work with specific machines?
It would be very helpful to be very specific about which exercises work best and for how long I should do them each day/week. Thanks so much. 🙂

Any type of exercise man. Just keep exercising. But yes, jogging is pretty much ideal since you lose fat all over. “Target exercises” don’t really work and they don’t seem to be as efficient.

Any exercises that help tone legs/butt and reduce cellulite?

I am 20 years old and I am not overweight but I lack muscle tone in my legs and butt. I have pretty bad cellulite even though I run 4-5 days a week. I know there isn’t a “cure” for cellulite except for plastic surgery, but are there any exercises I can do to make it less visible? Thanks!

For cellulite, exercise (especially cardio exercise) like running (your current exercise routine) helps a great deal becos it helps hike up your metabolism to higher levels so you are better able to burn off excess fat (cellulite is a form of excess fat deposited in certain parts of your body…..) from your entire body, to lose the fat and the weight.

Yes, as your metabolism increases, the more fat you gonna burn, hence it’ll make your cellulite less obvious. So, keep on running….

To strengthen and and tighten your legs and butts, I suggest you do strength training exercises that will help you build beautiful lean muscle mass into them, hence giving them tighter and firmer shapes.

Average body with cellulite to fitness competitor w/ low fat % high muscle mass, what happens to cellulite?

I have a little bit of cellulite. I’m noticing that’s it has been getting progressively worse this past year (I’m 19). I know that there is no cure for cellulite, and I’ve heard about endermology and whatnot.
I know for sure that diet and exercise improve the appearance of cellulite but cannot get rid of it.

My question is this: What about women who become fitness competitors? If you become extremely lean from proper dieting and strength training / cardio (I’m NOT talking about crash diets and eating disorders) how much improvement will one see in cellulite?

I’d think that when a fitness competitor becomes very lean with a low body fat percentage and high muscle mass, that this would GREATLY decrease cellulite. Am I correct?

I’m not thinking about becoming a fitness competitor, btw.
Oh… and if you’re wondering why I was asking, I was considering looking into dieting / strength training / cardio to become lean and built (but not nearly as big as a fitness competitor), which is why I asked the question.

I believe cellulite is caused by over abundance of fat cells and over enlarged fat cells. We make fat cells to store extra energy we consume. Most often it’s the carbohydrates and fats that we consume that get stored as fat cells.

If you lose fat weight, the cellulite should go away. Diet and excercise will help get rid of the chunks. The fat cells will still be the same size, just empty, so they will come back if the regimine stops.
